Harman Baweja was born to Harry Baweja, a film director, and Pammi Baweja, a film producer. He received his acting training at the Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute in Mumbai, India, before pursuing further education at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). In 2009, he changed his name to Harman S Baweja following numerology beliefs, with the “S” in his name serving as a tribute to his grandfather.
