Birth & Early Life
Achyut Potdar was born on 22 August 1934 in a Marathi Brahmin family in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, India. He spent his childhood in Indore and post-graduation in economics as a major subject with the first position and has got a gold medal in the University. His father’s name is Ashok Anand and his mother is Anju Anand. He did his school at DAV public school and St. Kabir High School, Chandigarh.
Education
Potdar spent his childhood in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, and post-graduated in 1961 with a major in economics with first position thus earning himself a university medal.
Personal Life
He is married to Rajneet Monga who was his girlfriend in his early days of life. She is working in a corporation firm. They have completed their lovely golden Jubilee together. We don’t know their kid.
Career
Achyut after completion of his studies, worked as a professor at Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, and later joined the Indian army from which he retired as a captain in 1967. He later joined Indian Oil as an executive and retired from it at the age of 56 in 1992. He indulged in cultural activities during his job in the Indian oil and hosted many events. Not too late, he entered the industry at the age of 44 after serving the nation as an army man and as an executive.
Achyut took acting as a hobby and never asked for roles in the films so he never for his acting career. Achyut debuted in Aakrosh in 1980. He was part of many famous films like 3 Idiots, Dabangg 2, and Ferrari Ki Saari. He played the role of Jayaprakash Narayan on the television show Pradhanmantri.
