Plot

In 1995, Valmiki and Ramachandra embark on their careers as clerks in the company of Ananth “ARK” Rama Krishna. Ramachandra, who ties the knot with ARK’s daughter Yasoda “Yasu,” achieves financial success, while Valmiki continues to struggle in poverty.

On the day both their children are born, a tragic event unfolds when Ramachandra’s son is seemingly stillborn. Nurse Sulochana reveals this news to Valmiki, who proposes to exchange his own newborn baby with the deceased child.

In 2020, Bantu, after being denied an MBA by Valmiki, secures employment at a travel company led by Amulya, also known as Ammu, a self-made businesswoman. Over time, Bantu finds himself developing romantic feelings for Ammu. Together with Shekhar and Ravindra Reddy, they embark on a business trip to Paris.

Development

Reports emerged that Trivikram Srinivas would helm a new film with Allu Arjun following the release of “Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava” in 2018. After listening to the script, Allu Arjun reportedly provided valuable feedback to Trivikram, advising him to make certain changes to enhance the project.

Casting

In mid-October 2018, there were reports suggesting that Kiara Advani had been roped in to play the female lead opposite Allu Arjun in the film. However, in January 2019, it was reported that Sunil would also have a significant role in the movie. Filming

Initially, there were speculations that the film’s launch event would take place on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2019, creating excitement among fans. However, the actual launch of the film occurred on April 13, 2019.

Music

Thaman was entrusted with composing the soundtrack album and background score for the film, marking his third collaboration with Allu Arjun. Their previous collaborations include “Race Gurram” in 2014 and “Sarrainodu” in 2016.Release

Producer Radha Krishna took to social media platforms on July 10, 2019, to announce the film’s release date, coinciding with the festive occasion of Sankranthi. The makers later confirmed on October 12, 2019, that the film would indeed hit the screens on January 12, 2020, aligning with the Sankranthi weekend.
