It is an Indian journalist who anchors a program that airs on Republic Media Network. He is the director of operations and editor-in-chief for Republic TV; before coming to Republic TV, he worked as an anchor for Times Now and ET Now (2006-2016).
Arnab Goswami also worked in his previous position at NDTV for a short time and also in the Telegraph. He appeared as a guest on Times Now with his show named “The Newshour”. This was a live debate that was broadcast every weekday at 9:00 p.m.
The talk show Frankly Speaking with Arnab also was a hit, as the host would talk with prominent celebrities from the fields of entertainment, politics sports, and more. Arnab quit Times Now as Editor-in-Chief and created his own Republic TV channel in May 2017.
Birth and Family
He was born on the 7th of March 1973 in Guwahati, Assam to Manoranjan Goswami and Suprabha Gain-Goswami. Arnab’s father was a soldier in the Indian Army and later on, joined the Bhartiya Janata Party while his mother is an author.
His paternal grandfather Rajani Kanta Goswami was a lawyer, while the maternal grandparent Gaurisankar Bhattacharyya was a legislator (CPI) and was the opposition leader in Assam for a long time.

Education and Personal Life
He was a student at several schools in India since the father of his son was an Army military personnel. Arnab completed his Secondary exams at Saint. Mary’s College within Delhi Cantonment and passed his Senior Secondary exams from Kendriya Vidyalaya in Jabalpur Cantonment.
He graduated with a B.A. (Hons.) in Sociology (Hons.) in Sociology from Hindu College, University of Delhi. In 1994, Arnab moved to England to pursue his master’s degree in Social Anthropology from St. Antony’s College, Oxford University. Arnab was a Felix scholar at Oxford. Arnab after his return to Oxford got married to his college sweetheart Samyabrata Ray.
The couple has one son. In 2000, Arnab was a Visiting DC Pavate Fellow at the International Studies Department at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge University.
