Celina Jaitly, born on 24th November 1981, is an Indian actress known for her appearances in Bollywood films. In 2001, she won the Miss India beauty pageant and also went on to become the 4th runner-up at the Miss Universe 2001 pageant. Her acting career began with the 2003 thriller film Janasheen.
Family
Celina Jaitly’s father, Late Colonel V. K. Jaitly, served in the Indian Army before retiring. Her mother, Late Meeta Jaitly, was a child psychologist who also participated in beauty pageants during her youth. Celina’s brother, Vikrant Jaitly, is currently serving in the Indian Army.
Celina Jaitly met Peter Haag, an Austrian hotelier, in Dubai through one of her friends who she referred to as Nilesh Mama. In an interview, Celina described their first meeting.

Personal Life
Celina Jaitly tied the knot with Peter Haag, an Austrian entrepreneur, and hotelier. They became proud parents of twin boys in March 2012. In 2017, Jaitly gave birth to another set of twin boys, unfortunately, one of them passed away due to a heart defect. Currently, Jaitly frequently travels to different parts of the world for her film and endorsement work while she divides her time between Austria, Singapore, and Dubai.

As an Actor
Jaitly made her acting debut in 2003 with the Hindi film ‘Janasheen’, in which she portrayed the character of Jessica Pereira alongside Fardeen Khan. The following year, she made her Telugu film debut in ‘Suryam’, playing the role of Madhulatha. In 2004, Jaitly was offered the lead role in the Hindi film ‘Julie’, but she declined the offer.
