Cody Garrett Runnels Rhodes (born June 30 in 1985) is an American professional actor and wrestler. He currently is signed to WWE and performs under the Raw brand. Rhodes is also famous for his stint as a member of All Elite Wrestling (AEW) in which he was the executive vice president. He also was the record-breaking and inaugural 3 times AEW TNT champion.
Rhodes gained fame in his first stint in WWE between 2006 and 2016. He wrestled in his name and also under the gimmick name and ring name Stardust was an excessively intense dramatic, dazzling spin-off of His half-brother’s Goldust character.
Family
The father of his son is “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes (WWE wrestler and Hall of Famer) (d. 11 June at the age of 69). The mother of his son was Michelle Rubio Rhodes. He is a half-brother to the wrestler of fame, Dustin Runnels, aka Dustin Rhodes or Goldust.
Cody has two half-sisters: Teil Gergel and Margaret Kristin Ditto (former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader). Cody was married to Brandi Alexis Reed (American wrestler and model, ring announcer, TV personality, and businesswoman) at the end of 2013. The couple has a daughter, Liberty Iris Runnels (b. June 18, 2021.)
Early Life
Rhodes was born Cody Geoffrey Runnels on Sunday, June 30, 1985. He was the son of accomplished professional wrestling star Virgil Runnels Jr., also known by the name Dusty Rhodes, and his second wife Michelle Rubio. Alongside his half-brother Dustin and half-brother Dustin, he also has two half-sisters who were part of the first wedding of his father.
When he was in his teen years and officially changed his surname to Cody Garrett Runnels Rhodes. Rhodes was a student at Lassiter High School and enjoyed an excellent wrestling career at the high school.
Personal Life
Rhodes is of Cuban origin through his grandfather’s maternal lineage. His father was the WWE Hall of Famer “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes and his half-brother is Dustin Runnels, who is more well-known by his name on the ring: Goldust as well as Dustin Rhodes.
On March 31, 2007, Cody and Dustin inducted their father into the WWE Hall of Fame. He has 2 sisters Teil Gergel, and Kristin Ditto, who was an ex-Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. He is the brother of pro wrestling champions Jerry Sags and Fred Ottman and the father of Magnum T. A.
Professional Wrestling Career
Rhodes initially credited his dad Dusty Rhodes for starting his wrestling classes at a time when Cody was just 12 years old. young; his training was mostly on fundamentals and the ability to take bumps. After that, his training was given through Al Snow, Danny Davis, Randy Orton, and Ricky Morton.
Utilizing his first name Cody Runnels, Rhodes began wrestling in Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) in May of 2006. Runnels formed the tag team together with Shawn Spears in mid-August 2006 and took home the Southern Tag Team Champion twice. He also took home his OVW Heavyweight Championship as well as the OVW Heavyweight Championship and the OVW Television Championship.

Ring of Honor (2017-2018)
On January 14th Cody was able to make his ROH debut in a tag team match together with Adam Cole as members of the BULLET CLUB, in a match that was won in the hands of Bobby Fish & Jay Lethal. On June 23rd at ROH Best in the World Cody took on Christopher Daniels to take home his first ROH World Championship.
