Born on the 14th of January 1964, in New Mexico, Bezos had an early passion for computers. He was also a student of electrical engineering and computer science during his time at Princeton University. After graduating, he began working on Wall Street, and in 1990, he was the youngest senior vice president in the investment company D.E. Shaw. A few years later, Bezos left his job to start Amazon.

He was a high school student, while the father worked as a bicycle shop owner. After 1968, they became separated, and his mother married Cuban immigrants Miguel “Mike” Bezos. Mike adopted a four-year-old boy named Jorgensen, and the name later changed to Bezos.

Early Life

Bezos is born on the 12th of January 1964 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to a teenage mom, Jacklyn Gise Jorgensen, and his biological father, Ted Jorgensen. The Jorgensens married within a little over a year. When Bezos was four old men, his mom got married to Mike Bezos, a Cuban immigrant.

Personal Life

He met novelist MacKenzie Tuttle in 1992, while at D. E. Shaw in Manhattan. The two got married one year later. In 1994, the couple relocated to Seattle, Washington, where Bezos created Amazon. Jeff Bezos and MacKenzie Tuttle (now ex-wife) are parents to four children, including three boys and one daughter who was adopted out of China.

Career

In 1986 Jeff was offered a job with Intel, Bell Labs, Andersen Consulting, etc. In the latter part of 1993, Jeff quit his position at D.E. Shaw and set out to create an online store. On the 5th of July in 1994, he founded Cadabra from his garage, which became Amazon.

His parents put $300,000 into Amazon. At the close of 1998, Bezos extended Amazon to other services, which was initially created as an online store. in 2000 Bezos secured $2 billion in loans from banks.
