Jyoti Yadav (born 26 September 1977) is an Indian first-class cricketer hailing from Allahabad. A left-handed middle-order batsman Yadav is the captain of and for Uttar Pradesh. He made his first appearance in the First Class in 1994/95 when he played with Uttar Pradesh against Kerala in the KD Singh Babu Stadium, Lucknow. Jyoti Yadav’s height in feet is 5′ 7”, height in Centimeters: is 170 cm, and height in Meters: is 1.70m

Jyoti Yadav made his first Class limited overs debut with Uttar Pradesh against Haryana in the LB Stadium in Hyderabad in 1994/95. He was picked for the Indian team of The Sahara Cup in Canada in September 1998. In 1998, Jyoti Yadav won the “Castrol Young Cricketer of the year” award alongside Sachin Tendulkar receiving the award for the best senior player of the year. The first player from Uttar Pradesh to receive this award.

Early Life

Jyoti Yadav’s parents live in Sushant Lok, Gurugram. She was a student at Sherwood Public School till seventh grade. Then, she was granted acceptance to the DPS School of Sushant Lok. Jyoti Yadav became the school’s top performer with scores of 92 percent in class 10th, and 95% in the 12th class. After finishing her schooling, she pursued BDS and was a Doctor. She begins her preparation for UPSC when she has completed her graduation.

Education

Jyoti Yadav went to Sherwood Public School in Gurgaon and studied there until she finished primary school. She is in 7th grade. Jyoti Yadav then enrolled in the DPS School of Sushant Lok and finished her high school education. She then got a place at a renowned medical college and finished her BDS and was a doctor. She then began her preparations for the th3 UPSC examination and passed it in the year 2019 with 493 ranks.

Career

Jyoti Yadav began her journey as a journalist following the completion of her master’s program. She began working for “The Lallantop” in September 2016. After a while, she quit the position and was hired by “News 18” in March 2017. She was there for nearly eight months. In January 2018, she became a member of “Inshorts” and was for a year.

In March 2019, she was on “The The Print” and reported on a variety of information about North India including gang rapes and communal violence. She also wrote about the change in rural India in the age of technology. She has written about a wide range of popular topics that relate to social justice and politics.

Jyoti Yadav also blogs that are titled “Meri Jaan Mujhe Khbar Hai” about the most pressing issues in the millennia’s viewpoint along with “The The Print”.
