Karan Singh Grover was born on February 23, 1982, in New Delhi, India, to a Punjabi Sikh family. He has a younger brother. During his childhood, Grover’s family moved to Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. There, he received his schooling in Dammam before pursuing a degree in Hotel Management from IHM Mumbai. In 2007, Grover landed the lead role in the medical youth drama Dill Mill Gayye. The show was a huge success and made him an “instant hit” and a “teenage icon,” according to The Times of India.
