Mahima Nambiar embarked on her acting journey at the age of 15 with her debut appearance in the Malayalam film “Kaaryasthan,” where she portrayed a role described as a “blink and miss” part as Dileep’s sister. During her early career, she primarily worked as an advertisement model.

Director Samy expressed interest in casting her for the film “Sindhu Samaveli” (2010), but due to personal reasons, she had to decline the offer. Subsequently, the production team recommended her for “Saattai” (2012), marking her Tamil film debut. Remarkably, she was still in class 12 when she took on the lead role of Arivazhagi, a village schoolgirl, in the film.

Following “Saattai,” Mahima took a year off to complete her schooling before returning to the world of acting. She featured in four Tamil films, including “Ennamo Nadakkudhu” (2014) where she portrayed the character Madhu, a nurse. Her subsequent projects included “Mosakutty” (2014), directed by Jeevan, “Puravi 150cc,” directed by Venkat (an associate of Cheran), and “Agathinai” (2015), directed by Marudhu.
