Professional Basketball Career
Jordan started his professional basketball career in 1984 when he was drafted into the Chicago Bulls. He was third overall, behind Hakeem Olajuwon, selected first by the Houston Rockets, and Sam Bowie, who was taken by the Portland Trail Blazers.
