Rama Shankar Singh is his father’s name, while his mother’s name is Pratima Singh. He has a sister by the name of Mala Singh and also has two elder brothers. In 2014, on December 1st, he tied the knot with Neelam Singh. Unfortunately, a few months into the marriage, Neelam committed suicide on March 8th, 2015, at their residence in Andheri, Mumbai.

He has been linked to several Bhojpuri actresses, including Kaavya Singh, Rani Chatterjee, and Urvashi Chaudhary. Additionally, he was reportedly in a romantic relationship with the actress Akshara Singh. On March 5th, 2018, he entered into a court marriage with fashion designer Jyoti Singh, and the following day, they got married once again according to Hindu customs at a hotel in Chitbaragaon, Ballia.

Birth & Early Life

Pawan Singh, born on 5th January 1986, hails from a Rajput family in Jokahri village near Arrah, Bihar. His parents are Rama Shakar Singh and Pratima Singh, and he has two elder brothers and a sister named Mala Singh.

Pawan completed his primary schooling in Kolkata and his intermediate schooling at H.N.K. High School in Arrah. He pursued his college education at Maharaja College, Arrah. Pawan received music training from his uncle, Ajit Singh.

Personal Life

In 2014, Singh tied the knot with Neelam Singh in a private ceremony that was attended by their family, friends, relatives, and some prominent figures from the Bhojpuri industry. Unfortunately, Neelam tragically took her own life at their home on 8th March 2015.

In 2018, Pawan married Jyoti Singh in a private ceremony held in Ballia, which was only attended by their family and a few close aides. However, in 2022, he filed for divorce from Jyoti.

Music Career

Singh has been actively involved in singing and performing on stage since his childhood. He has lent his vocals to various Bhojpuri-language pop albums. His debut album, “Odhaniya Wali,” was released in 1997. In 2004, he made his debut as an actor in the film “Rangli Chunariya Tohre Naam” and played his first lead role in the same movie in 2007.

His album “Lollipop Lageli,” released in 2008, became a major hit, and the song “Lollipop Lagelu” brought him widespread recognition in the industry.
