In 1966, Pele married Rosemeri dos Cholbi for the first time. They were blessed with two daughters. In 1982, they divorced. He was romantically involved from 1981 to 1986 with Xuxa. She helped him become a model. Xuxa was just 17 years old when they began to date. He married Assyria Seixas, a gospel singer, and psychologist. Celeste and Joshua were born to her. They have separated.
International Career
Pele, at the age of 16 years old, played his first international match in Brazil for the national team. It was held in 1957. He scored a goal, which is the youngest ever to be scored for Brazil in his first match. He was the youngest ever player to take part in a World Cup in 1958.
Due to a knee injury, he missed the first two matches but was able to play in the third match. He assisted on a goal. Pele scored a hat-trick in the semi-final against France that helped them reach the finals. He scored two goals against Sweden in the semi-finals, which saw him score 6 goals in four matches.
