Rhaenyra Targaryen was born in the year 97 Ac. Her father was Viserys I Targaryen, the first King of Viserys I Targaryen who was the 5th Targaryen Head of the Targaryen Kingdom to sit upon the Iron Throne as he ruled from 103 Ac to 129 Ac. Her mother was Lady Gemma of House Arryn was his first wife. She was the sole child of her father since her brothers were twins who died in the crib.

The King Viserys My family had an elder daughter. Her twin brother who was younger, Aegon II, engaged in a civil war which was later referred to by the name Dance of Dragons in which they took on their share of the Iron Throne. She was married twice as well as had five sons. Two of them–Aegon and Viserys became kings following her death. The princess was on Syrax the dragon.

She, born around AD 97 was the eldest child and the oldest girl of King Viserys I Targaryen and Lady Gemma of House Arryn. Rhaenyra was the sole child of her father’s initial marriage, as her brothers died in the midst of their infant years.

Early Life

Rhaenyra was the sole surviving daughter of King Viserys and his first spouse, Gemma of House Arryn. Viserys married three times: two of whom were stillborn and Rhaenyra. Since there was no male heir, Rhaenyra was named as his successor.

Princess Rhaenyra was selected to succeed by Viserys to succeed her father by participating in her father’s council as well as other matters of politics. Numerous nobles admired Rhaenyra and she was widely regarded as the queen to come. She later got married to Ser Laenor Velaryon and had three sons.

Death

As the two dragons fought during The Battle Above the God Eye, Daemon leaped from his horse to drive Dark Sister to the blind of Aemond. The two dragons crashed together into God’s Eye, with Caraxes running to the coast before falling to the sea.
