Robert Thomas Pattinson was conceived in London, England, on May 13, 1986. Pattinson, the youngest of three children and the only child born to Robert Patterson and Clare Patterson, is Pattinson. His father was a car importer and his mother was a model agent.
At the age of 15, Pattinson started acting in a London theatre club. He then began his film career as Cedric Diggory, a fantasy movie about Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005). His role as Edward Cullen in The Twilight Saga (2008)-2012 film series earned him worldwide recognition. It grossed over $ 3.3 billion. Pattinson’s performances as an independent director have been critically acclaimed after he starred in the romantic dramas Remember Me (2010), and Water for Elephants (2011).
Early Life
Pattinson was the youngest of three children born to Clare (Charlton), a model agency scout, and Richard Pattinson a vintage car dealer. He was born in London on 13 May 1986. He was raised in a Barnes home with his two older sisters, Elizabeth and Victoria.
At the age of four, Pattinson began playing the piano and guitar. At the age of 12, he attended Tower House School. He was then expelled from school for shoplifting adult magazines in a post office and later selling them to his male classmates.

Career
2004-2007: Career Beginnings
Pattinson was a supporting role in the 2004 German-made-for-television movie Ring of the Nibelungs and Mira Nair’s costume drama Vanity Fair. However, his scenes in the former were deleted and appear only on the DVD. He was to be seen in The Woman Before’s UK premiere at the Royal Court Theatre in May 2005. However, he was fired just before the opening night. Tom Riley replaced him.
2008-2013 – The Twilight Saga, and Global Recognition
Pattinson was cast in Twilight as Edward Cullen, based on Stephenie Meyer’s novel. TV Guide reports that Pattinson was nervous about auditioning for the role, afraid he wouldn’t be able to live up to expectations.
Pattinson became a star in the movie industry after the film’s release on 21 November 2008. While the film received mixed reviews from critics, many praised Pattinson’s relationship with Kristen Stewart. The New York Times called Pattinson “capable” and “exotically beautiful”, while Roger Ebert stated that he was “well-chosen for the role.”
Upcoming Projects
Pattinson signed a first-look production agreement in May 2021 that covers all Warner divisions including Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema as well as Warner Bros. Television and HBO Max. This deal is Pattinson’s first venture into producing. It also includes a variety of releasing platforms such as television, SVOD, and theatrical.
Pattinson will star in Bong Joon-ho’s upcoming science fiction film Mickey 17 (2024), which is based on Edward Ashton’s novel Mickey 7. For Warner Bros. Pictures, He will also be returning as Bruce Wayne/Batman for the sequel to his superhero film 2022, directed by Matt Reeves.
