Rupali Ganguly is a native of and raised in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Her early education was at a private school in her hometown. After that, she was able to graduate from a university in West Bengal, India. Rupali also earned a diploma in Hotel Management.

She has been involved in the world of art since her when she was a child. She was a part of the feature film Saaheb in 1985, at the age of just seven. Then, she appeared on screen in the father’s movie Balidaan. In addition, she has been performing in theater for a long period of time.

Rupali was an artist for children in the movie Saheb. The film was a collaboration with Anil Kapoor Amrita Singh Rakhi along with Utpal Dutt as lead characters. Additionally, she featured as an artist for children on the screen in 1987’s Mera Ya Mera Dushman, both of which were produced by her dad Anil Ganguly. Rupali began her career on the tiny screen in 2000 with the soap opera Sukanya.
