Sam Worthington is an Australian actor from Australia. He is most well-known for his roles in Jake Sully in Avatar, Marcus Wright in Terminator Salvation as well as Perseus from Clash of the Titans and its sequel Wrath of the Titans.
Sam Worthington also appeared on the screen in The Debt, Everest, Hacksaw Ridge, The Shack, Manhunt: Unabomber, and Fractured. He also was Captain Alex Mason in the video game Call of Duty: Black Ops. He also played the real-life FBI profiler Jim Fitzgerald in the drama miniseries Manhunt: Unabomber.

born Samuel Henry John Worthington on August 2, 1976, in Godalming, Surrey, England His parents moved to Perth, Western Australia when Sam was just a few years old. He was raised in Warnbro which is a suburb of Rockingham, Western Australia. He was a graduate of NIDA (Australia’s National Institute of Dramatic Art).

Personal Life
He was a lover of actress Maeve Dermody from 2004 until 2007. In 2014, Sam married Australian model Lara Bingle. The couple has two kids.
Career
Worthington was first seen along with Adam Garcia in the Aussie dance film Bootmen which was released in 2000. Following this, he was featured in the budget-friendly Aussie comedy Gettin’ square. Worthington gained a lot of attention for his role in the film Somersault. Indeed, Worthington was even awarded the AFI Award for Best Lead Actor for his outstanding performance.
After a string of successes with Australian films, Worthington started getting cast in a variety of Hollywood films. The year 2005 saw him as a character in The Great Raid film The Great Raid. He was a character in Terminator Salvation as a cyborg known as Marcus Wright.
