Satish Shah is an actor and comedian from India. He was a regular actor in many Hindi and Marathi films, as well as numerous TV serials. He is most well-known for his comic roles but he also played important roles in many Hindi films.
Indian actor Satish Shah was born on 25 June 1951. His comedy roles in films such as Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro (83), Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi (84), Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai (2004), and Main Hoon Na (2004) are his most well-known. He also co-judged Comedy Circus 2008 with Archana Praan Singh. He was also elected as a member of the Film and Television Institute of India in 2015.
Early Life
Madhu Shah, a fashion designer, has been Satish Shah’s wife from 1982 to now. Shah was diagnosed with COVID-19 in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. After a complete recovery, he was released from Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on July 20.
Education
Satish Shah, Gujarati Kutchi was born in Mandvi. Before enrolling at the Film and Television Institute of India, he received his academic training from Xavier’s College.
Personal Life
He married Madhu Shah in private life but they divorced later. He was awarded the ITA Award for Best Comedy Actor, and the Indian Telly Award for Best Comic Role Actor.

Career
In 55 episodes of Kundan Shah’s 1984 sitcom Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi, he played 55 characters. He also played Prakash for 50 episodes of Zee TV’s Filmy Chakkar series from 1995. Sarabhai, a popular TV series featuring Sarabhai and Vs.
Indravadhan Sarabhai was also featured in Sarabhai’s 2004 television series. He was paired with Ratna Pathak Shah in the films Sarabhai and Filmy Chakkar. Satish Shah was the main character in Ghar Jamai’s 80 episodes. He and Swaroop Sampat also starred in the 109-episode DD2 series, “All The Best”.
Satish Shah played Municipal Commissioner D’Mello in Kundan Shah’s 1984 film Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro. His career spanned decades, from the 1980s to the 1990s and now. He played many characters, but his comedy career was his most prominent.
It began with Arvind Desai Ka Ajeeb Dastaan, his 1978 breakthrough film. In addition to his work in Bollywood, he was also a judge in the Comedy Circus laughing contest. As of writing, he has made more than 250 feature movies.
