Saumya Tandon was born on 3rd November 1984 in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Her father, B. G. Tandon, holds the position of professor at a university in Ujjain. She received her schooling education from St. Mary’s Convent School in Ujjain.

Saumya Tandon pursued her education in Ujjain, where she attended St. Mary’s Convent. Her father, a distinguished academic, has authored 17 books on various branches of English literature and served as a professor and HOD of English at Vikram University, Ujjain. Saumya holds an MBA degree from the Fore School of Management. Apart from her acting career, she is also a gifted poet.

In the year 2016, Saumya entered into a marital bond with her long-time boyfriend, Saurabh Devendra Singh. Their relationship had lasted for over a decade before they decided to tie the knot. Saurabh is the proud owner of an entertainment company named “1018 MB.”
