Shruti Haasan is a famous Indian actor and playback singer who has worked in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi films. Her birth date was 28th January the 28th of January, 1986 Madras in the family of Kamal Haasan and Sarika Thakur. Her father is a famous Indian actor, while her mother is an established Indian actress. She has a younger sister, Akshara. Famous lawyer and actor Charuhasan is her uncle of her.
She is the mother to South Indian actresses Anu Hasan, and Suhasini Maniratnam. The director Mani Ratnam is also her brother-in-law. Shruti went to school through Abacus Montessori School, Chennai, and Lady Andal School, Chennai. She finished her B.A. in Psychology from St. Andrew’s College in Mumbai. Then, she relocated to the US to study music at the Hollywood Music School, in California.

She was born in Chennai. She is of mixed heritage since her father Kamal has an Iyer from Tamil Nadu whereas her mother Sarika was born to a Maharashtrian father and a Rajput mother. It happens to be the eldest daughter of actors Kamal Haasan and Sarika Thakur.

She completed her education through the Abacus Montessori School, in Chennai, and further studies at St. Andrew’s College in Mumbai. She then went back to the US to continue her studies in how to play the guitar at the Musicians Institute. Musicians Institute in California.

Her birthplace is in a known family with a film background Her mother Kamal Haasan is Tamilian and her mother is from the family of a Maharashtrian father and a Rajput mother. Her uncle is Charuhasan who is an actor and lawyer, and her sister-in-laws Anu Asan, and Suhasini are also actors in Indian-south films. Suhasini was married to the famous actor Mani Ratnam. She finished her education in Chennai and then, for further studies she relocated to Mumbai and enrolled at St.Andrew’s College and received a degree in Psychology.

Career
Shruti Haasan sang her debut single “Potri Paadadi Ponne” aged just six years old in her film with her father Thevar Magan (1992). Her first performance as a vocalist was in the movie Chachi 420. Then, she performed the song Rama Rama for the film Hey Ram (2000). Alongside singing, she’s written down the lyrics to her song for the film Hisss (2010).
Haasan was first seen in the role of a young actor as a child artist in the dual Hindi as well as Tamil movie Hey Ram (2000). She began her modeling career by appearing on the cover of magazines such as Frappe!, And Verve. She has been featured in a variety of films, including Ramaiya Vastavaiya Gabbar is Back along with Welcome 2.
