Sidharth Malhotra Biography

Sidharth Malhotra, an Indian actor, appears in Hindi films. Malhotra started his modeling career at age 18. He was dissatisfied with the profession and he became an assistant director to Karan Johar on the 2010 film My Name Is Khan. He made his acting debut in Johar’s teen drama Student of the Year (2012). For this role, he was nominated for a Filmfare Award as Best Male Debut.

Early Life

Sidharth Malhotra, a son of a Punjabi family, was born in Delhi on January 16, 1985. Sunil Malhotra was Sunil’s son. Rimma, his mother is also a homemaker. He also has a younger brother, Harshad Malhotra who works in the financial industry. After completing his primary and secondary education at Delhi’s Don Bosco School, and Birla Vidya Niketan schools, he began his college studies at Bhagat Singh Col in New Delhi. His height is 6 ft 1 in or 185 cm and his weight is 86 kg or 190 pounds.

Personal Life

Siddharth was a bright student and his parents wanted him to be an engineer. However, he preferred athletics. Siddharth admits that he loves hot chocolate. This is something he used as a way to cheat his grandmother and steal her money when he was younger.

Since he was a big fan of Shahrukh Khan, he used to imitate his mannerisms when he was at school. He has strong feelings for animals and has been involved with many non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

Career

At the age of 16, he began modeling. Sidharth played the role of Prithvi Raj Chauhan’s younger brother in the television series Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan. Roberto Cavalli, an internationally renowned designer, also employed Sidharth in his ad campaign. Sidharth Malhotra, an actor, also worked for magazines such as Redbook, Gladrags, and Men’s Health.

Sidharth was a popular model during that time, but he is now interested in acting and wants to pursue a career as an actor. He auditioned for Anubhav Sinha’s movie, but it was canceled due to an unknown reason. He then worked as an assistant director for Karan Johar’s movie My Name Is Khan in 2010.
