Tina Dabi Biography

Tina Dabi IAS was born on 9 November 1993. She is 30 years old. She is an IAS officer, media face, and internet inspiration from Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh. In India, she is known as the AIR 1 holder of the UPSC 2015 exam. She was the first girl from a scheduled caste to pass the UPSC 16 exam.

She graduated from Lady Sriram College and received her education at the Convent of Jesus and Mary School. She was a distinguished student all her life.

Early Life

She was conceived in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh (India) on November 9, 1993. She is from a middle-class Hindu family. Her father Jaswant is General Manager at BSNL, and her mother Himani is an ex-IES officer in Indian engineering services. Tina views her mother as a role model, having sacrificed her job to pursue her career. Ria Dabi is her younger sister.

Family

She IAS is Tina’s oldest child. After much research, we discovered that her father’s name is Jaswant Dhabi. He has been working for BSNL as a General Manager for many years. Her mother’s name is Himani Dabi. She was an Indian Engineering Services officer but retired to care for her family.

Tina is also a sister to Ria, an IAS officer. In 2021, she passed the UPSC exam with AIR 15.  She currently serves the post in Rajasthan. Tina is also a strong believer in Hinduism and has Indian nationality.  She is also a member of the Kamble tribe.

Husband

Tina Dabi and Athar Amir Khan both filed a divorce petition at Jaipur’s Family Court. Their divorce petition was accepted by Jaipur’s Family Court. Many factors contributed to her marriage being in the news. Both were of different religions, and their marriage was praised for its communal harmony.

At their wedding function, many dignitaries were present including Sumitra Mahajan, Vice-President India, and Sumitra Mahajan, Former Lok Sabha Chairperson. Rahul Gandhi, Senior Congress Leader, praised the couple’s decision.

Athar is from Jammu and Kashmir. According to reports, they fell in love while training in LBSNAA. They then made their decision public via Social Media. Hindu Mahasabha termed marriage as Love Jihad. Dabi replied that she was not affected by the comments and that it is her right to respond.

Boyfriend

Tina Dabi, a talented and intelligent woman, met Athar Aamir Khan in Delhi at the DOPT office.  They were part of their IAS training at the institute, ‘Lal Bahadur Shastri Na Academy for Administration in Mussoorie. Rome, and the Netherlands during this period.  They were married on March 20, 2018. Two years later, the IAS couple filed for divorce with mutual consent.
