Unnikrishnan Mukundan Unni Mukundan (real name: Nair) is a well-known name in Malayalam films and also is an Indian actor. On the 22nd of September, 1987, he stepped into the world of film. Some Tamil, as well as Telugu films, have featured his voice in them as well.

Early Life

The first time moviegoers experienced Unni during the film’s 2011 Tamil remake of the Malayalam film Nandanam, Seedan. Unni made his debut in Malayalam films in Babu’s Bombay on March 12, which was a film starring Mammootty.

He was awarded the prize for the most promising newcomer during a ceremony that was held on the 12th of March in Bombay with SIIMA, Asianet Film Awards, Asiavision, Jaihind TV, Amrita TV, and Vanitha Film Awards. It was the T. K. Rajeev Kumar film Thalsamayam Oru Penkutty where he starred in a supporting role produced by Kumar.

Unni Mukundan was born on September 22, 1987, to Malayali parents Mukundan Nair and Roji Mukundan. Prajyoti Niketan College in Pudukad where he studied journalism as well as English literature, granted him his diploma (Thrissur). Ahmedabad, Gujarat is where his parents brought him up. In the early stages of his professional career, He worked for Motif which later changed to TTEC.

Career

He was a guest in Vinil’s critically panned The Last Supper, released in 2014. The return of Mukundan occurred the same year when he was a part of Dulquer Salmaan, who was the lead in Lal Jose’s smash success Vikramadithyan. Through this Lal Jose-directed movie, Unni Mukundan has made an impressive comeback, according to a reviewer for Ibtimes. He has managed to catch Vikraman who is a young man with his feelings kept under control and who displays an honest character and does it brilliantly.

In the film 2015, Fireman which was directed by Deepu Karunakaran and featuring Mammootty the actor played a small role. In the film’s sequel, Samrajyam II: Son of Alexander in which he was Jordan Alexander’s son, was the protagonist of the film. A newcomer Muhsin Parari was the director and producer of the film that followed, KL 10 Patthu.
