Usain Bolt is arguably the greatest sprinter in the history of the world. In 2008’s Beijing Summer Olympics, Bolt participated in the 100-meter and 200-meter events. In the 100-meter race before the Games Bolt beat the record set by his father by finishing the race in 9.69 seconds.
The record was not only achieved without wind conditions favorable, however, but he also clearly slowed down in celebration before the race (and the shoelace was untied) this action caused a lot of controversies later on.
