In 2006, the influence of my sister Kruti played a significant role in my decision to transition into acting. Kruti, a filmmaker herself residing in Los Angeles, cast me in her 2006 production “The Memsahib.” While working on set, a newfound passion for acting took root within me, inspiring me to enroll in acting classes in Los Angeles.
As the years progressed, I ventured into various acting opportunities. In 2008, I appeared in a Volvo commercial, and subsequently took on roles in different projects. Notably, I participated in the web/TV series “Quarterlife,” which briefly aired on NBC in 2008. Additionally, in 2009, I made a guest appearance on the popular series “Heroes.” My presence was also felt in the second-season winter premiere of the USA Network’s “Suits.” During this time, I was initially cast as Stephanie in the USA Network pilot “Paging Dr. Freed.” However, my portrayal did not make it to the final version due to the network’s different envisioned direction for the character.
