He began his career by playing a brief part in the Hum television drama Khamosiyan. The year 2017 saw him start auditioning for Hum TV’s production department, MD Productions, and was offered the main character on Yaqeen Ka Safar. His most memorable performance was the one that earned him the Lux Style Award for Best Actor and 3 Hum Awards including Hum Award for Best Actor.

Mir was the first to make the Coke Studio debut as an added artist during the new and upcoming eleventh season.
