CarDekho’s CEO, He, did his education at Saint Xavier’s School, Jaipur. He graduated from IIT Delhi in 1999.

Professional Life

Between 1999 and 2000, Amit worked as a Software Engineer for Tata Consultancy Services. Then, he was employed as an Associate Senior as well as Delivery Manager, and Director of Product at Trilogy for a period of 6 days and 11 weeks.

In 2007 Amit co-founded GirnarSoft the company that provides IT services along with Anurag Jain, his brother, with the goal of starting the business in their hometown. In the year 2008 Amit, as well as Anurag, founded CarDekho.com which is the main website of GirnarSoft.

Professional Career

After his graduation, Jain was recruited at Tata Consultancy Services as a software engineer. After one year with the company, he received the job of Senior Director of Delivery, Associate, and Product Manager at Trilogy.

When he returned in 2006 to his home after hearing about his father’s battle with cancer He came up with the idea of creating a company that would make a million dollars alongside his younger brother. It was the Jain brothers’ trip to the auto show in Delhi that inspired him to create CarDekho.
