Early Life

He was born on the 22nd of October 1964. He was born into a wealthy Jain family in Mumbai. The father of Anilchandra Shah was the owner of an enterprise dealing with PVC pipes. Amit Shah finished his education in Mehsana and completed his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry at CU Shah Science College in Ahmedabad. He joined his first group, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) at the age of 14.

Before he joined politics as the home minister of the Union Amit Shah worked in the plastic pipes business in the family in Mansa. Shah was a member of his first political party, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh at a young age. In 1982 during his college years, Ammit Shah met Narendra Modi In 1983 he was a member of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad and was able to become a politician during his time as a student.

He is in charge of the home ministry in Gujarat State of India and is the General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Shah was selected for The Lok Sabha from Gandhi Nagar in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Before this, He was a member of the Rajya Sabha. After being appointed Secretary of Home Affairs of India during the 2nd term under the Modi administration, he made the big step of removing Article 370 of Jammu as well as Kashmir.
