Amrita Arora obtained her secondary education from Swami Vivekanand School in Chembur, Mumbai, where her aunt Grace Polycarp served as the principal. She tied the knot with Shakeel Ladak, a businessman in the construction industry, in 2009. The wedding celebrations consisted of a Christian ceremony on March 4, 2009, followed by Mehendi on March 5 and a Muslim Nikah ceremony on March 6, 2009. Career

Amrita Arora started her career as a VJ for MTV before venturing into Bollywood. She made her film debut in 2002 with the movie Kitne Door Kitne Paas opposite Fardeen Khan, which unfortunately failed to make a mark at the box office. However, she tasted success with the action comedy film Awara Paagal Deewana. Despite this, she appeared in a series of flops, including the 2004 film Girlfriend, in which she portrayed a lesbian character opposite Isha Koppikar.

In 2007, she made a special appearance in Farah Khan’s blockbuster film Om Shanti Om, in the song “Deewangi Deewangi” alongside her sister and former brother-in-law, Arbaaz Khan. That same year, she appeared in two films – Speed and Red: The Dark Side, which also featured Aftab Shivdasani and Celina Jaitley in lead roles.
