Early Life

He was born on 1 May 1955. He was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, and is part of a well-known business family. The Mahindras are the children of the late Harish Mahindra as well as Indira Mahindra. The year 1977 in the first time he completed advanced education at Harvard College, Cambridge, Massachusetts. He was part of the Phoenix S.K. Club.

The year was 1981 when he graduated with a master’s degree in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School, Boston, Massachusetts. He is currently married to Anuradha Mahindra who is the well-known editor of magazines Verve and “Man’s World and the Editor-in-Chief of Rolling Stone India. The couple has two daughters.

He was born into a prominent business family from Bombay. He had a strong inclination toward his grandfather’s business ventures. Anand Mahindra attended Lawrence School, Tamil Nadu where he finished his initial studies. Then he attended Harvard University, Boston to study filmmaking and architecture.
