Plot

Sundar hails from a traditional Brahmin family with deeply ingrained skepticism toward ventures related to the film industry. In his childhood, he falls victim to a fraudster who deceives him with false promises of a role in an upcoming film featuring the renowned actor Chiranjeevi, which would be shot in the United States. This incident further strengthens his family’s apprehensions regarding such pursuits.

As Sundar grows up, he becomes an employee at an advertising agency. He harbors a deep desire to fulfill his dream of going to the US, so he attempts to convince his colleague Soumya to give up her opportunity to travel to the US, hoping to take her place instead.

Development

Initially, the film was launched with the working title “Nani#28,” indicating its association with actor Nani. However, on November 21, 2020, the official title of the film was unveiled as “Ante Sundaraniki.” This title change added intrigue and curiosity among the audience.

Filming

Principal photography of the film began on 16 April 2021. Filming wrapped up on 23 January 2022.

The film score and soundtrack album of the film is composed by Vivek Sagar. The music rights were acquired by Saregama.
