In 2005 she made her big-screen debut in the Telugu film “Super”. The same year, she made her second film, ‘Mahanandi’ an action/drama movie directed by Samudra who was an average director, came out. In 2006, she appeared in S.S. Rajamouli’s ‘Vikramarkudu’ along with Ravi Teja, which was an enormous commercial success. In 2006 the actress made her first appearance in a Tamil film, playing the lead role in the film “Rendu,” written by Sundar.

In the following years, she was in a variety of films like “Lakshyam” (2007)as well as Love Don (2007), and “Souryam” (2008).
