Archana is born on September 26, 1962, in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. She comes from a Hindu family. Her father is an attorney. She has a sister and two brothers. She attended school at Convent School, Dehradun. Archana graduated in English from Delhi University, New Delhi.

The first marriage of Archana didn’t work out. It ended in divorce. Then she got to know the director and actor Parmeet Sethi at a dinner party. The couple later got marri on the 30th of June 1992. The couple has two sons Aryamann and Ayushmaan.

Career

She graduated from Delhi University. The year 1980, she relocated to Mumbai and began her career as a model. Years since she modeled for several renowned brands and was able to garner a huge amount of praise from her faithful admirers. In 1982 the actress made an acting debut in the film “Nikaah” in which she played a salesperson.

In 1987, the film “Jalwaa” in which Archana Singh paired with legendary actor Naseeruddin Shah. Then, she began to appear in a variety of support roles, in which she gained fame.
