Mathukkara Moothedath Ramachandran was born in Thrissur on the 31st of July 1942. He was welcomed into a household that was rich in historical cultural, literary, and historical tradition. His father, the famous V. Kamalakara Menon, who passed away in the year 1995 was a poet and his house was the home of numerous Akshara Shlokam recitations.

The third of the eight children of his parents who were born in the future, Ramachandran was the second son, and the third in total. After earning a bachelor’s degree in business at St. Thomas College, Thrissur an institution that is affiliated with Kerala University, Ramachandran moved to New Delhi in order to start his career in the field.

Career

Ramachandran started his career within the financial industry in Delhi which is the city where he was working. After the completion of academic post-graduate work in the field of economics and finance at the Delhi School of Economics, Ramachandran began his work at Canara Bank.

After a while, the State Bank of India appointed him to the post of probationary officer. In the following months, he transferred to the State Bank of Travancore and was employed there as a field officer, accountant as well as a manager. When he quit the bank as the supervisor for more than 100 branches.
