Bhushan Kumar was born in Delhi to the founders of T-Series, the owner Gulshan Kumar, and Sudesh Kumari. Kumar was married to Divya Khosla on February 13 2005 in the Maa Vaishno Devi shrine in Katra. They had a son in October.
Career
Kumar assumed control of the company that produces music T-Series in 1997 when he was 19 years old following the death of his father Gulshan Kumar. He was later chairman and the managing director of the top music business in India.
As the Managing Director, Kumar expanded the business of the company into electronic, CD cassettes, and audio/video tapes in addition to filmmaking. In recognition of this, and for promoting Indian music abroad He was honored by India’s Government’s Electronics and Software Export Promotion Council.
