William Henry “Bill” Cosby, Jr. (born 12 July 1937) is an American comedian actor, writer TV producer, educator as well as musician, and activist. Early Life
He was born William Henry Cosby Jr. on July 12, 1937, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Cosby is the oldest of four brothers and grew up living in the city’s Germantown neighborhood. In the beginning, Cosby’s family Cosby had enough money to survive financially, however, the family’s budget began to plummet as Cosby’s father William Cosby Sr., was drinking regularly.
As his father enlisted in the U.S. Navy, Cosby was a kind of father to his siblings. His mother, Anna, worked cleaning homes. Cosby and his family were housed in Richard Allen Homes, a low-income housing development. When he was 8, Cosby suffered a great loss when his brother James, who was the second oldest boy, passed away. with a very tight budget in his household, Cosby began shining his shoes. He also worked at a grocery store in his middle school days.

He got married to Camille Olivia Hanks on January 25, 1964. They have five children “Erica, Erin, Insa, Evin & Ines”. Their sole child, Ennis died on the 16th day of January 1997 when he was changing a punctured tire along the side of Interstate 405 in “Los Angeles”.
