On the 20th of July 1973, one month before the release film Enter the Dragon, Lee passed away on the streets of Hong Kong, China, at the age of 32. The official reason for the sudden and shocking death of brain edema that was discovered at an autopsy was due to a bizarre reaction to a painkiller prescribed by a doctor that he had been taking for an injury to his back.
