Plot

Alka, a reporter, encounters Amol Dwivedi, the founder of a foundation that supports acid attack survivors. Alka shares the story of Malti Agarwal, a survivor who is courageously advocating for a ban on the sale of acid. Malti, in her quest for employment, finds an opportunity when Amol offers her a position at his organization.

In April 2005, tragedy struck when Malti became a victim of an acid attack in a bustling market street in New Delhi. The incident prompts a thorough investigation by the police. Relying on the testimonies of Malti and her boyfriend Rajesh, the authorities suspect Basheer “Babbu” Khan, a family friend, and his sister-in-law Parveen Shaikh to be the culprits.
