Early Life

Dhanush’s first name is Venkatesh Prabhu Kasturi Raja. The place he raised in Madras, Tamil Nadu, to Tamil film Director and Producer Kasthuri Raja. In the beginning, he wanted to study hotel management and be a cook. His brother, film director Selvaraghavan was a different influence and pushed him to be an actor.

Dhanush got married to Rajinikanth’s older daughter Aishwarya on the 18th of November 2004. Yatra and Linga the two children of the couple were born in the years 2006 and 2010 respectively. They filed their divorce papers on 17 January 2022. Tamil film actor Rajinikanth is Dhanush’s father-in-law.

He believes he is involved in trying to salvage their marriage and is the one who is most devastated over the decision of the couple to split. He is a passionate Lord Shiva devotee who has called his two kids Shaivite.

Personal Life

Dhanush was born Venkatesh Prabhu Kasthuri Raja to Tamil film producer and director Kasthuri Raja. He began acting after being pushed by his brother director Selvaraghavan. He married Aishwarya Rajinikanth on 18th Nov 2004. The actor has 2 sons, Yathra as well as Linga. The couple separated on January 18, 2022.

Career

Dhanush made his debut in the movie Thulluvadho Ilamai, under directorship under the direction of his father Kasthuri Raja. The film was a huge success all across Tamil Nadu. In the beginning, Dhanush was handled by his brother Selvaraghavan for Kadhal Konden It was Selva’s debut film and gained a huge following for Dhanush.

Then, Thiruda Thirudi a commercial film was also an international blockbuster. Then, came his first failure Pudhukottaiyilirindhu Saravanan which was directed by Stanley. In the following, Sullivan’s movie also fell into the same category because of his physique and both action films failed.
