Plot

In the film, Chakaravarthi’s father, Ganesan, is a strict and concerned parent who places a great emphasis on his son’s studies and desires him to become a civil engineer. However, Chakaravarthi despises studying and resorts to lying about his test marks to his father. Alongside his academic struggles, Chakaravarthi falls in love with a girl named Angu.

Chakaravarthi enrolls in BEC (Best Engineering College) in Coimbatore, hoping to embrace the college experience. Unfortunately, his expectations are shattered by the presence of Professor Bhoominathan, the disciplinarian figure whom students both fear and despise. Determined to bring joy to his fellow students, Chakaravarthi devises a plan to send Bhoominathan away as a visiting professor at St.

In August 2017, there were reports of Sivakarthikeyan planning to collaborate with his friend Vignesh Shivan for a film, after the release of Suriya’s “Thaanaa Serndha Koottam”. The film’s producer, K. E. Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green, had also acquired the rights for the project. However, for various reasons, the film did not materialize as planned.

Music

The film’s soundtrack album is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, marking his seventh collaboration with Sivakarthikeyan. The talented duo has previously delivered popular and successful music in their previous collaborations. The lyrics for the songs in the film were penned by Vignesh Shivan and Rokesh, who have contributed their lyrical prowess to enhance the musical experience.
