Game Over Telugu Movie 2019 Cast, Plot, & Release

Simultaneously shot in Tamil and Telugu, Game Over is a film that transcends language barriers. The intriguing storyline captivated audiences not only in the South Indian film industry but also attracted the attention of the Hindi audience when it was dubbed in Hindi and presented by the esteemed filmmaker Anurag Kashyap.

Plot

Game Over opens with a chilling and intense scene, where a mysterious serial killer, whose face remains concealed, begins stalking a young girl afflicted with cancer. The tension builds as the killer eventually takes her life in a gruesome manner, wrapping her head in plastic and binding her hands before disposing of her body in an abandoned field, setting it ablaze.

The narrative then transitions to focus on Swapna, portrayed by the talented Taapsee Pannu. Swapna is a gifted game designer and an independent young woman. However, she carries deep-seated fears and psychological scars. Her profound fear of the darkness is rooted in her traumatic past, specifically a harrowing incident of rape that occurred on a previous New Year’s Eve.
