Gautam was a left-handed opening batsman who played cricket in the Indian domestic league for Delhi and also played for the Captioned Kolkata Knight Rider and Delhi Daredevils in the IPL (Indian Premier League). He is a child in an upper-middle-class Punjabi family. Gambhir’s father Aazeen Gambhir works as a businessman in textiles, and his mother Anaiza Gambhir is a homemaker. Gambhir has an older sister named Ekta. The family is based out of Delhi.

Personal Life

Gautam Gambhir along with Natasha Jain were family friends for a long time. Then, they became lovers and were married in the month of October 2011. The couple held a traditional Punjabi wedding. Natasha is drawn to Gambhir’s relaxed personality and ensures that Gambhir stays calm because he’s a good man. The beautiful couple has two gorgeous daughters.

Career

In 2003, the handsome Gautam played his first ODI (one-day international)debut against Bangladesh and also played his first Test later in the season against Australia. Gautam was the only Indian and was among four international cricketers who recorded 100s over five straight Tests.

In the Asia Cup in the year 2010, Cricketer from Pakistan Kamran Akmal launched a raucous appeal to Gautam Gambhir this made Gautam furious and they got into an argument that was heated however, umpires and players intervened to stop the fight. In 2012, Gautam’s captaincy was in place. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) were the first team to win an IPL title and then went on to win it again in 2014.
