GuneetMonga (born in 1983) was born in 1983. She is an Indian film producer, BAFTA nominee, and line producer. Guneet Monga is also the founder of Sikhya Entertainment, a film production company. She also serves as the CEO of Anurag Kashyap Films Pvt. Ltd. (AKFPL), which she joined in 2009 with notable films, such as Gangs of Wasseypur – Part 1 (2012), Peddlers (2012) and The Lunchbox (Dabba) (2013).
Born and raised in Delhi within the family of a Punjabi household, Monga witnessed domestic violence in her own home by her family members. On one particularly violent night, she and her parents walked out of the ancestral house and fled to the safety of their lives.

Monga was raised in Delhi. She completed her training at Bluebells School International and obtained an MA in mass communication from the Madhubala Institute of Mass Communication and Electronic Media associated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi in 2003.
The year 2003 saw Monga as a producer’s intern in Delhi After receiving her mass communications, she began her career as a production coordinator for international films which included the Vic Sarin film Partition. Then she moved to Mumbai in 2006, and she began working on the cricket film, Say Salaam India (2007).
It came to Rang Rasiya (2008) and Dasvidaniya (2008) and then in 2009, while working on the production of the film Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai (2010) and made through Balaji Telefilms. During the making of this film, she got to know director-producer, Anurag Kashyap. Later, in the last quarter of 2009, the actress joined Anurag Kashyap Films.
