Ishaan’s journey in the film industry began with a child role in the 2005 movie “Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi!” alongside Shahid Kapoor. He furthered his involvement in the industry by working as an assistant director for Abhishek Chaubey’s 2016 film “Udta Punjab” and Danish Renzu’s 2017 movie “The Greatest Showman.”

In 2017, he took on a leading role in the film “Beyond the Clouds,” portraying the character Amir, a drug dealer. His performance in the movie earned him the prestigious Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.
