James Michael Vince (born 14 March 1991) is an English cricketer who is captain of Hampshire County Cricket Club and is a member of the England cricket team. Also, he was a gifted soccer player who was with Reading Academy for three years before joining Trowbridge Town F.C. at the age of 16.

Domestic Career
A graduate of Hampshire’s cricket academy Vince signed a 1-year contract with the club towards the beginning of 2009. The Hampshire player earned his Championship debut on the 11th of June 2009 when he played against Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club. His batting skills brought him in for the England U-19 team during their series of Tests against Bangladesh.
As per Duncan Fletcher, who acted as a consultant to Hampshire and was also the previous coach for Hampshire’s England side, Vince is reminiscent of the former England player Michael Vaughan. After the departure of John Crawley during the 2009 season, Vince has been a regular for Hampshire throughout the various forms of the sport.
International Career
Vince made his One Day International debut for England against Ireland on May 8, 2015, as well as his Twenty20 International debut against Pakistan on the 26th of November, 2015. He scored 41 runs in the opening game of the T20I series when England defeated Pakistan by 14 runs. He after that, he scored 38 in the second game when England triumphed again. Vince scored 46 runs in the final match as the score was tied and England took in the Super Over.
Vince was named the man of the series due to his contribution to the three games. He was a part of 2016’s World T20, replacing the injured Alex Hales for the match against Afghanistan. Vince scored 22 points, and England triumphed in the match.
Franchise Cricket
Vince has played for several teams from overseas T20 tournaments, such as participation in the Pakistan Super League, Australian Big Bash League New Zealand’s Super Smash, and South Africa’s Mzansi Super League.
