Family

Jon’s parents were religious and they made a living from the religion business. His father was an assistant pastor and his mom was active in the church supporting her husband. It’s no surprise Jon comes from a low-income family, as the religion business isn’t very lucrative, especially since his father was an assistant pastor.

Jon’s mom, a nurse and daytime worker, could not do much to help the family get out of financial difficulties. They worked hard and continued to show love and support for Jon and his brothers, including his older sister Carmen Jones.
