Hartnett was raised in the Roman Catholic faith and attended Nativity of Our Lord Catholic School.
Personal Life

Regarding his experience with fame, Hartnett has stated that he understands what it’s like to be in the public eye. After arriving in LA, he landed a role in the short-lived but highly acclaimed drama series, Cracker, on ABC. Though the show was canceled after just sixteen episodes, it helped to establish Hartnett’s name in the industry.
Following this breakthrough, Hartnett shifted his focus to feature film work. He started by performing in small plays and national television commercials before securing his first film role as the son of Jamie Lee Curtis’ character in Halloween H20: 20 Years Later.
