- Kanwarjit Paintal’s family was based in Lahore, Pakistan, from where his father relocated to India and settled in Punjab where Paintal was born.
- During his childhood days, Paintal’s father used to shoot movies for his own interest on an 8mm camera in which Paintal used to act. After watching his acting, Paintal’s father suggested that he should pursue acting.
- Since his childhood days, Kanwarjit Paintal always wanted to entertain people.
- Before choosing acting as a career, Kanwarjit wanted to become a naval aviation officer as he belonged to an army background because all his uncles were retired army generals.
