Leonardo DiCaprio began his acting career by appearing in a series of commercials for television. He earned his first break on the TV show Parenthood which inspires by the film titled the same. Tobey Maguire was also on the show, and the two became close friends. DiCaprio’s film debut came from Critters 3, a low-budget sequel to the horror genre.
