Personal Life
Malaika was married to Bollywood actor-director-producer Arbaaz Khan in 1998 whom she met during a coffee ad shoot. After her wedding to Arbaaz until the time they divorced and she became called Malaika Arora Khan. On March 28, 2016, they announced their divorce citing compatibility issues. The couple divorced on the 11th of May, 2017.
They share one daughter, Arhaan Khan, born on November 9, 2002. Custody of their son following the divorce will be shared with Malaika and Arbaaz has visitation rights over his son as per the agreement made in the Bandra Family Court. Bollywood actor Salman Khan and actor-director-producer Sohail Khan are her former brothers-in-law. Her father-in-law’s former was a scriptwriter Salim Khan.

Career
Malaika attended Holy Cross High School Thane until the 9th grade. She finished her secondary education at Swami Vivekanand School in Chembur. After her education was completed she was admitted to Jai Hind College, Churchgate however she was unable to complete her degree due to commitments to work.
When MTV began to operate across India, Malaika was among the handful of VJs selected. She hosted the first show”Club MTV. Malaika Arora was the subject of numerous commercials for different brands. She was in the song from the album “Gud Naalo Ishq Mitha” by Bally Sagoo and opposite Jas Arora.
